On Show #19 of The Roundtripper, catchers have been in the news quite a bit lately and Chris and Tom dedicate a lot of time discussing the tools of ignorance and the men that wear them. They take a look at the recent Miguel Montero controversy, examine who is good and not so good at pitch framing, discuss catcher pop times, and throw out a few names that have been surprising at the position so far as well as those who may be likely trade targets. The two of them also talk about super utility players, and both take a few moments to highlight recent MLB and MILB ballpark experiences.
